Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. Got a sec for another one? Am I going to have to cut the liner to use these or will the just plug into the hole already there?

Trying to hard plumb my intex 18x52 ultra, standard sand filter. I'm pretty confident in all the pieces I've picked up, but this one in the picture. What is it? Can I just get it al lowes? Do I have to cut out the black nipples to install this piece?

So I'm really stuck with the part that is on the outside of the pool. The highlighted piece in the picture. What is this called and where can I find one. Once I have this piece figured out I think I'm on easy street. Any help would be so appreciated! Thank you Carrie

I'm Carrie. We live outside Philly and we're on our 5th intext pool. Every other year or so we've gone up in size. This year we just put up or 18×52 intext with sand filter. Looking forward to learning a lot more about pools for all you pool experts on here. Carrie
