All is clear in the strainers and no air. I may have added for the 65...gonna clean it and redo the DE. That may be it !! I thought the same thing when I saw my own post!! Thanks for the help, I'll post my results. TRazz

Oops...I have an EC75A....

It is my second year with a Hayward DE(EC65A) and my pressure is dropping as it runs. I cleaned the fingers at the end of last season and put in new DE per instructions yeasterday. Any ideas????? It seems to be filtering and the pressure out of the jets seems very strong......HELP ! Trazz

So you gained about 8 degrees with 3 panels....great! I am getting 4 and I get full sun from 8am to about 3pm. MAybe I'll get 10. I am in NJ and my pool stays about 78 unless we get in the 90's then it gets to 80-81. I would like it at 86-88. Thanks for the reply!

Hayward's website should have a blow up of your filter with a parts list. You should be able to look at it and figure out what you need to do. What is the model #, maybe I can help
