Spa Renovation - How do you make spa 2 inches higher

"Cougar Leather" was so funny you probably heard me laughing in Texas. Personally, my favorite slab is the first one because the wide movement make the blue look like ocean waves and the brown/tan looks like swirling sand. It would be neat to do a digital mock up of that slab on a pool with...

Spa Renovation - How do you make spa 2 inches higher

OMG. That would be absolutely stunning. Although I doubt that is on the $400 per slab. Plus, I would need it to be 5 cm thick and most slabs are only 2cm or 3 cm so could you imagine the cost. But that would be stunning to see!

Spa Renovation - How do you make spa 2 inches higher

I am renovating my pool coping and deck. The spa is elevated and topped with brick and attached to a small elevated walk way. I am installing marble coping and decking. I am now thinking that I would like to redo the top of spa and walkway except the spa is too wide for 12" x 24" coping. The...

Skimmer lid -- collar taller than patio

I think I have this issue right now as I have demolished the concrete decking and installing pavers. However, my concrete coping was 3" thick and my stone coping is 2" thick. So skimmer lid is too tall. How did you ultimately deal with the lid?

Can you use natural stone as waterline tile? I am have coping and tile done and was told that you should not use natural stone. But nothing matches the beauty of stone.

    Glass Tile Spa

Ohhh, so the less grout line the better. But glass tiles tend to be small mosaic so they the turn corners and sparkle.

    Glass Tile Spa

calculus I have the exact same situation as you and just asked the same question yesterday on this forum. Maybe the answer is slightly different if you are in a warm climate. But I don't understand why glass tiles would loosen from water getting behind it anymore than porcelain.

Should I replace all tile or just redo jacuzzi with glass tile

10 years ago I redid my pool. I added jacuzzi and added new tile around pool perimeter. I am now going to replace the decking with marble pavers. Contractor says the difference between existing 3' concrete pool edge with 2" mable coping will result in a gap around jacuzzi. I have leftover tile...
