    Hooking up booster pump using pig tail and an outlet

    I have a booster pump that is presently hard wired into the system I would like to use a plug and a pigtail wire instead of the hard wire setup. This to make it easier to remove pump for winter storage. In general does the code allow a 240 volt pump to be powered this way

    Patching Polaris Bags

    You can cut of the leg part of a pair of your wifes old panty hose and slip it into the polaris bag and the open end of panty hose over the plastic inlet on bag. It works great and when it gets full just discard the panty hose liner with all the debris and put in the other leg of panty hose.

A few questions: am I better off getting a solid cover with the built in drain vent or the newer type mesh covers that supposedly block out 99% of sunlight.
