Same here. I had a "spaz stir", replaced batteries and it went back to normal. I'd try a different set of new batteries.

Go down to your local Leslie's and get a couple of their bottles for the free water test. They are 8 ounce capacity. I always get 2, on for the pool and one for the hot tub. I fill one an ounce at a time and mark the level with a sharpie. See...those free water tests DO have a purpose.

The one I go to has it both ways. BUT...the boxes had a date stamp of January 9, 2017 while the single jugs had a date stamp of June 21, 2017. I got the singles.

No- I've only lived here 3-4 years. Did all my astronomy in Colorado. Much drier air out there, no haze like there is here.
