I was using cya 40 all day for 16 target FC until morning test where cya appeared lower. I'll correct from 35 to cya of 40.
Have to be away from pool tomorrow..
What to do?
Is it possible to add 1 trichloro-s-triazinetrione Max Blue Tabs from HD in a floater in the middle of the SLAM? I need to step away from sitting the pool for 24hrs and I don't want to lose any progress that may have been made this week. Just want to be sure it is safe when SLAM target is...
Follow-up: I must have a new resistant strain of algae. Tested and added chlorine 11× yesterday to fight it and still a green pool. No significant change..
This morning test..
FC 15
CC 1.5
TC 16.5
TA 120
CH 325
CYA 35
Any suggestions?
Thanks..
Ok thanks for the suggestion about testing sooner. I've been trying to allow 1 hr to circulate but I'll reduce it to 15-30 minutes and retest. I'm up for the battle!
201841648c. Is that April 18 2020?
Thanks so much!
Yes you get it..very frustrating to see green water that's not showing improvement when putting in a huge effort and at least 10+ gal chlorine this slam. I can't even see the the bottom of pool..only 1st step...but I'm still brushing.
Do you know how to determine if chlorine is weakened, how to...
Pool is still green after 72hrs nonstop filtering. Brought cya up from 20 to 30 (Sunday) and started SLAM. Keeping at target slam level. Brushing daily multiple times. Still green!? 😥 About to backwash and check filter grids. Help I need a break from green. Any advice pls?
