Yes, the dome. And yes that is my fear. I see no thread damage but that really means nothing. And the tank is 5ish years old.

Look at metal lawn edging. It worked for me to redirect some of the rain water away from the walkway around the pool. Was able to pound them down so it was only 1ish inch high so no one wasn't tripping on them.
