    cover pool when it rains?

Well the moderate rain turned out to be an all out downpour but the sky's are starting to turn blue once again. About the chemistry, our pool is salt so I'll check the levels in a few days and see how much more I might need to add. Thank you!

    cover pool when it rains?

lol, no we didn't. Since "socal winter" is on it's way here, I was wondering if I should put a cover over our pool. I had a cover when the Santa Ana's (high winds from the north) rolled in but then uncovered it to resume splash fun. So I'm guessing it's a no for covering our pool.

    cover pool when it rains?

Looking for some guidance as this is our first winter with our 16x32 agp and I'm wondering if I need to put a cover on when it rains? I live in southern California where we don't get to much rain. The forecast calls for a couple of days of light to moderate rain this week with high temps next...

Replacing Liner, Foam Board****Now Done w/Pictures

I've been searching for Extruded rigid foam the pink or blue stuff but being from California I think they made this stuff illegal as I cannot find it ANYWHERE. All they have is the Expanded rigid foam . Does anyone have a lead to his stuff near San Diego county?

Fixing an unlevel above ground Intex pool.

Thank you for the response. I can see your view on added stress to pool liner and top of frame rail. My wording might have confused some readers, let me do a redo on my question. If I place pavers (15"x15"x 2") on top of level ground which has been laser leveled using road base, they should...

Fixing an unlevel above ground Intex pool.

I know this is an older post but after reading this post and others with paver placement in the post. My two part question and dumb as it might sound it's just been a thorn in my side so to speak, but why do the pavers need to be flush with the ground? If the ground is level wouldn't the pavers...

Pavers/PT lumber level with ground or foam?

That makes sense, I just need to find a way to set the blocks in place and make them level with the road base. I wish there was a page included in the online instructions with measurements of where each block should be placed.

Pavers/PT lumber level with ground or foam?

25 min wait time well at least I got the information I was looking for and lo and behold it's on their website doh! Time to start snapping these poles together to get an idea of where the pavers are going.

Pavers/PT lumber level with ground or foam?

This is the spot we chose for the pool no grass just dirt. Work starts tomorrow. I removed all the parts from the intex boxes and set them aside per contents of box. Well everything is there, everything but assembly instructions sheesh! I've called Intex but no answer yet, I'll keep trying. Is...

Pavers/PT lumber level with ground or foam?

First off thank you for your response, much appreciated. Contractor said they will be using "road base", not sure what that is exactly but he did say it will end up being pretty solid. Will I still need the pavers?

Pavers/PT lumber level with ground or foam?

Hi all, so contractor has started the process of leveling the spot for our 16'x32'x52" Intex pool, great! My question to you experts is should the pavers (or for those using PT lumber) be flush with the level ground or flush with the foam boards I will be using to line the floor of my AG pool...

    Intex 16x32 pavers breaking

Even though we found some 15x15 pavers, I'm left wondering why pressure treated lumber is not being used more often? Got to talking with my neighbor and he used 12"x14"x2" PT lumber and stacked them, essentially making a 12"x14"x4" support for the legs. He's had it up going on three years now...

    Intex 16x32 pavers breaking

Yup, after purchasing (48 pieces) them, my wife and I decided against using them for support We'll just use them to build a small divider or something else. Found a local hardscape company that has 15" x 15" x 2-1/4" pavers. Will go with those instead.

    Intex 16x32 pavers breaking

Change of pIans, no longer going with the metal plates. I went to our local hardware store and spoke with one of their reps and told him the plan. He said these retaining wall blocks will hold up under the water weight. Hope he's right.

    Intex 16x32 pavers breaking

Reviving this old post... Getting ready to set up our 16x32 Intex and have heard negative reviews on pavers cracking under the water weight. There is a shop nearby that will laser cut me 15" x 15" x 3" steel plates which I will then get powder-coated to help reduce the chance of rust. Will the...
