    Installing Intex 12x24 AGP,,,,,questions

Filling to level works fine if you use the right compactible fill material such as road base or derivative. I used 3/8 crusher run on mine.

    Drones!

The hubsan is comparable to the mjx bugs 5w discussed earlier. Lot of reviewers prefer the hubsan so i think you did good. Apparently video has greater stable range and a lot less laggy than the mjx. You give up the controllable (tilt) camera though.

    Unlevel Intex 32 x 16 x 52

The pool looks significantly unlevel to me. Personally I'd take it down and start over, and I wouldn't swim in it. My pool is level to 1/4 inch. A lot of people would start over once it got to about half inch to one inch unlevel. The ground must be even and firm. Turning to mud or sinking...

    Jacking up pool

Couple straps and a brophy jack?

Went away for two days and the pool went green. I think I know what went wrong, I hope..

No, the green pool is because your fc dropped to 2. Well below the legal limit for cya=60! If you're gone for only a couple days like that then bump up the fc before leaving or use pucks.

What is the effect temperature on chlorine consumption?

Your pool is not really that hot in the grand scheme of things so you can safely stop worrying about any temperature effects. Mine is much hotter usually about 93°. Never less than 90 and often bouncing off 96° which is the point I actively cool it. No problems at all simply by maintaining...

    Intex owners, trim your pool!

Slayher...I'm curious what chlorine levels you were measuring?

    Algae under seam?

I use a brush. The right shape makes it easy. Yes you need to clean seam regularly. There's a thread here somewhere about one person cutting down the seam overlap with blunt end scissors so he didn't have to brush.

    chlorine evaporates

How much does your chlorine drop overnight (before sun hits pool in morning)?

    FAS-DPD test.

If the correct value is 4 then both your results are within one drop. Add the underlying accuracy (say 5%) to the precision limit of one drop and you seem to be doing pretty good. How are you measuring your sample size? Easy to have a 5% error right there unless you are using a Sample Sizer...

Reusable Type B filters....need opinion and advice

Unicel make aftermarket filters that fit. They are the gold standard for filtration and are reusable.

Algae on solar cover from rain water

Some good comments already. Your proactive slam spray sounds like a good idea prior to leaving. I assume you start with pool water to pick up the cya then add chlorine. I'd repeat the pump spray upon returning but this time use 10x slam level. I do that randomly through the year when my...

Black Trash Bags to Heat pool?

The science is different at my location since the pool heats better with the cover on. Evaporation doesn't just occur at night.

    AGP Depth - 54" vs 48"

Maybe, although Wilbar International provides instructions how to do it for their pools and apparently honors the warranty when done. I guess if one is suitably paranoid they should stay with manufacturers who officially support deep ends such as Wilbar or Doughboy.

    AGP Depth - 54" vs 48"

Yes that's a problem with the newer buttress free designs. I've been looking at that too and there are instructions for cutting the straps, attaching them to a cement block and burying it as described here: PSC Ep. 50: Can I use an expandable liner with my oval pool? - INYOPools.com Edit...
