New liner - to go with dealer, or go online?

Ya that's true JP. And I hadn't scrolled down far enough previously, but linerworld does list 72" expandable liners for around 600. So half price of dealer. Which is a bit less drastic of a difference. It'd be nice to know if anyone has had a good experience with a non-dealer liner...

New liner - to go with dealer, or go online?

So we're going to need to replace the liner of our doughboy above-ground 41x21 pool, that got damaged over the winter. The local doughboy distributor quoted me 1100-1400. Then there's websites like Dohenys that sell them for 8-900, and yet others like linerworld.com for 300-500, on sale. I...

Need advice in mitigating damage from catastrophic winter water loss from doughboy AGP

Well, i finally got down in and looked and the liner tore in many places around the bottom edge where it meets the wall, either due to shrinkage, or because it was so old an brittle that the wind flapping the liner walls caused it to break (don't know how old the liner is, it was here when we...

Need advice in mitigating damage from catastrophic winter water loss from doughboy AGP

Well, the water appears to have stopped dropping now, at least fast. Seems to be right below the level of the shallow end floor. So still a good amount of water in the deeper end. I can't reach the drain or really anything inside right now due to all the ice still in there. And the water...

Need advice in mitigating damage from catastrophic winter water loss from doughboy AGP

So I need some advice. We have a 40'x20' doughboy agp, came with the house when we bought it 3 years ago, near Omaha Nebraska. Huge deck around it. It's an acreage, so water is our own well. Past two winters went fine, but this winter something went wrong, and the pool has been...

Closing AG Pool with Main Drain

Ok, here's pictures again: That first pic is looking from the pump end, toward the main drain end in the distance. Second picture is the raised 'trap' they set up down there with a valve. I'll try to get some pictures of the other equipment tomorrow (it's night as I write this). Sorry for...

Closing AG Pool with Main Drain

I'm a first time pool owner in Nebraska (hard freezes, frost line 3 feet). My wife and I just bought this house in July, and it came with a 20x40' doughboy above ground pool. The pool has a 'deep end' 6 feet deep, with a bottom drain. It's now about time to winterize, and I wanted to get...
