I have an Intex Ultra XTR 16 ft x 48 in above ground pool. The sand filter that came with it has never worked consistently, and when it has, it's clearly underpowered. What's the best filter I can replace it with? I'm willing to spend some extra bucks to get something that will work properly...

Putting it in our backyard won’t work for us. If I move it toward the shed at the back of our RV park, it will be on more level ground, so I’m going to try that. I may still need to level part of it, though.
