Hayward/Goldline Pro-Logic panel schematic? No power to display!

I gave up and replaced the main board. Weather was quite hot here and I that pro logic sure makes life easier!

Hayward/Goldline Pro-Logic panel schematic? No power to display!

Did some more troubleshooting today, from what I see there is no DC voltage whatsoever on the board. No DC voltage on the board that I could find, nothing to the latched drivers as well (U4/U5). If I disconnect the two external rectifiers outputs, I measure ~6V AC on the orange terminals but...

Hayward/Goldline Pro-Logic panel schematic? No power to display!

I did not see anything burnt anywhere, including the backside. I doubt that the issue would be with the relay K! however since my problem is with the display panel, it does not get any power. I would be surprised if this was controlled by the display panel. Do you know where the 10V DC...

Hayward/Goldline Pro-Logic panel schematic? No power to display!

My PL-P-4 panel died overnight. No power to the display and from what I was able to gather from this https://www.hayward-pool.ca/pdf/manuals/2014-ProLogic-4.45v2-TSG.pdf my 24V AC is fine, 120V AC supply to the panel is fine, fuses aren't blown however there is no DC voltage between pin 1 and...

Max "overhang" for concrete pool deck (vinyl pool)

Woops, I've just realized that my reply never made it. THanks for the info Jason, I thought that the deck was mostly supported by the brackets since they are called "deck support" when you look at the Kafko litterature (My pool isn't kafko but similar)

Max "overhang" for concrete pool deck (vinyl pool)

I've had some issues with the concrete deck near my diving board. It was installed with a sonotube to offer extra support but it appears that because of it the concrete was lifting with the frost thus it cracked pretty badly. The poolbuilder offered to fix this and work is now in progress as...

SR Smith "Salt friendly" diving board: worth the upgrade?

Re: SR Smith "Salt friendly" diving board: worth the upgrade What bugs me a bit about it is the fact that they only give a 3 years warranty.. and it's prorated! I hope it's not because the fiberglass will dry / crack over a short period of time

SR Smith "Salt friendly" diving board: worth the upgrade?

Re: SR Smith "Salt friendly" diving board: worth the upgrade Thanks a lot for the info. Hmm, no metal at all for the spring or the base, that's making interesting.. It looks like I may have to bite the bullet and get this one instead of keeping the Frontier II. I should have been more...

Rust on diving board base: how to remove & prevent?

It looks like I never updated this thread so I'll do it for those who may be searching for a similar issue in the future. I ended up having a new base (provided by pool builder) sprayed with black rhino hybrid and it looks quite nice. It has lasted all summer without any issues...

SR Smith "Salt friendly" diving board: worth the upgrade?

I had posted last year about the rust issue on my Frontier II diving board rust-on-diving-board-base-how-to-remove-prevent-t25474.html and ended up having it sprayed with "rhino hybrid". It works well so far, no rust or anything but I have no idea when ti will start cracking and I may be back...

Coping and concrete issues... not too sure what to do

Thanks for the torque lock thingy, maybe it could be part of the solution I need. The pool builder sent a guy yesterday and he agreed that just patching the crack may not last long. He said that something like rubber / epoxy coating may be better since it will never crack but my concern is...

    Air coming through return

It should stay full, maybe you've got a minor leak (I'd say check the multiport valve to see if it's sending water down the backwash hose)
