FINALLY! Another set of eyes noticed that the pump wasn’t sitting “flat/level”. Leveled pump, lubed union o-ring and now everything is back to “normal”...

Maybe a stupid question, but if I had an underground suction side leak letting air into the system wouldn’t it leak water when the pump is off?.

Possible to re-apply pvc cement to all connections, just to be on safe side?

apparently i had suction side leaking in plumbing. During that troubleshooting process we found that 2 of the spa returns (they have a "reducer" in the line) were clogged. One of them was actually pulling water from spa into the line. Got those all corrected, and all suction side leaks have...

They were out this morning and lubed/replaced all o-rings..everywhere. Found a return in spa that was actually drawing water back into the return! Actually found 2 of them filled with “debris”...🤦‍♂️

O-ring and pump basket lid are fine. Something odd started showing up...pump basket randomly losing “prime”. Pump running fine and suddenly the water level in basket drops, turn off pump, re-prime basket and it’s fine for a while. Then randomly it wil drop again...

I’ll double check that tomorrow. I have Jacks 327 lube...

I only get the bubbles when solar is running...
