First time pool owner loving the pool part but hating the fact that I have a 16 foot by 48 in above ground pool but the fiance would let me put it up he went out and had me buy a smaller pool 8ft X 30in easy set pool it did not come with a pump but it came with the holes and the fix your settings for the the pool to be capable of setting up with a pump later in the future so I did I got a pump I know this something is definitely way too big for the pool it is an Intex 2500 GPH with an aeration technology to it it's already hooked up it works fine everything works amazing now I have a question that is very curious some a friend of mine that I got the big pool from said that when I do set up my large pool that it would be best to have stand lay down for the cushioning of the bottom of the liner so I've got stand but now my fiance you used it for the bottom of my small pools that he had me go out and buy the question is with my larger pool I am ready to set up without a doubt I have a 30 foot by 50 foot 14 mil tarp and then I also have landscaping fabric and the 18 ft round gorilla pad for underneath my pool now is it still necessary for me to have to lay down another layer of sand before I set my pool on the tarp and the gorilla pad or will I be fine without that I live here in Arizona the heat here is unbearable we are breaking records into the month of July Farrar temperatures with only one month snow storm this entire year so far any help would be great I would just like to know what I still need to lay down a layer of sand or will I be fine with the tarp and the gorilla pad with what I've got including the landscape fabric
