Garden Spa Hydrangea low flow problem

All the jets are open. Some of them just have very little flow coming out. There is an adjustment to direct the flow from the jets on one side of the tub to the other, but it doesn't matter which way it's turned. I'm pretty sure the jets are removable (from what I've read most are). Is it...

Garden Spa Hydrangea low flow problem

I have a Garden Spa Hydrangea which came with the house when I moved in 3 yrs ago. Not sure of the age. I didn't notice an issue the 1st year we used it, but last year and this year some of the jets seem to be hardly pushing any water through. I drain it and clean it every spring, and refill it...

    Losing Jet Pressure

I can give it a try. Although I just put a brand new filter in 5 days ago. Is it harmful to run the tub without the filter?

    Losing Jet Pressure

No. Do you mean pull out the filter and turn on the jets?

    Losing Jet Pressure

I have noticed over the last year that the jets of my hot tub seem to be lacking the pressure they once did. I'm still getting water flow through all the jets, is just seems weak and there's not as much water-churning as there used to be. The hot tub came with the house when I bought it 2 yrs...

    Concrete pool deck shifted

Hello all; My concrete deck has started settling/shifting away from my vinyl coping, creating a small gap. I've had a pool installation company out to look at it and he said the concrete slab will need to be replaced, as jacking it up will only temporarily fix it, and the slab will likely...

    Backwashing sand filter always necessary?

I'm only backwashing for less than a minute, but there's still a large volume of water that comes out & I don't want to saturate my lawn (already had an incident where I washed away topsoil and new grass seed....but that's another story). After reading the ins & outs tutorial on sand filters I...

    Backwashing sand filter always necessary?

I just had new sod put in my yard and I don't want to keep saturating it with the high volume of water that comes out when I backwash my filter. Plus I'd rather not keep adding water to my pool each time. I was wondering if it's necessary to backwash every time I vacuum the pool? The sight glass...

Closing hot tub for the summer

Hello, I tried a search but nothing came up but there may be a thread already posted. I didn't use my hot tub at all last summer, so I decided rather than waste hydro to keep it warm, I will close it for this summer. I used a jet cleaner then drained the tub and cleaned it. Is there anything...

Inground winterized pool water level high

Yes I have a small pump that I can attach a garden hose to. Should be able to fit it in the skimmer opening so I don't have to take the cover off. It won't be a fast drain though, but the water is still 2.5" below the top of the pool. Any ideas of how low I should drain it?

It might not rain enough to overflow the pool, but I was just wondering worst case scenario if it does. I also read somewhere that you want to keep a liner pool full to keep the liner from "floating"? Not really sure what that means
