77 years old, retired. Have never had a pool nor did I want a pool to mess with, but one came with the house (6/2019). My goal is to learn enough to maintain a safe, clean and sparkling clear pool without paying someone else.

New (to us) house with a first time pool.
There were no instructions, manuals, etc. left for the pool. Out of desperation we hired a person to manage the pool. As of 03/2020 it’s now up to me. A Vinyl, oval 15' x 32', 17,688 Gallons. Hayward pump (replaced last month), Hayward sand filter, Hayward Veri-Flo valve, AquaRite chlorine generator, Hayward TurboCell TCell15.
