The pool company is coming to take a look this week to hopefully confirm what’s going on, my next issue is I’m starting to get a good amount of Algea. Any reason I can’t add some chlorine and mix it using my sump pump, or am I better off just dealing with it when I get the pump issue fixed?

No automation, man that’s not good. Pump was installed October 2019 but not used used until May 2020, you’d expect it to last longer then that.

The pump will not run at all, I open the cover to the digital screen and it’s blank. So I have no way of starting the pump. How would I check that? Also I searched but could not find, do these pumps have any fuses that could go bad?

That’s exactly what I did, just confused now the line is always very visible no matter what I try with the 50 ppm standard. I’ll try again

Pool is still looking good, I just received my 50ppm standard and now I’m concerned my CYA may be a lot higher then I thought. I was under the impression the test was over when the dot just barely disappears? I mixed the solution poured to 50 ppm line and can’t under any conditions make that dot...

So I may have found my problem, should have not been lazy last time. Just pulled the trim ring off the lights and can see visible algae, not a ton. If I take those out and clean them by hand do you think a full slam is necessary?
