I have a main drain question on a new pool build

Yes each drain will be connected to their own pump and it will be in the deep end about a foot or 2 off the bottom.

I have a main drain question on a new pool build

Thanks for the input. Its good to know that it will help. There were 2 main drains in the floor already figured into to the project then they added three more for the three water feature that we are doing. The additional 3 will be put into a bench that we are putting in it. The additional 3...

I have a main drain question on a new pool build

My pool builder is telling me that I need 3 additional main drains on for each water feature that we will be installing. So he is saying that each feature pulls the water from a main drain. I feel like I am trying to be up sold???

Is a shotcrete pool really worth the additional cost.

Great discussion thanks guys. For us finance was not an issue as we are selling our motorhome ( our portable vacation) to pay for our back yard vacation. So after meeting we are PB today I think we have finally decided to go with shotcrete. He was able to tent the project so he could work...

Is a shotcrete pool really worth the additional cost.

As some of you may have seen earlier post about my family doing a vinyl liner pool. I was dead set on vinyl due to the over all value of the pool. I have talk to a local pool builder that says the you cant go wrong with a shotcrete pool. However it is a hard pill for me to swallow because it is...

    What's your current pool temp?

Man that sure is a lot of wood. I wouldn't think that you would need the much wood in texas... oh wait I forgot that 65 is cold in Texas. In March for me here in Ohio 55 degrees is the shirt weather, but in September it's cold. I guess it's what you body gets used to. One thing I don't like for...

If I could change TroubleFreePool, I would....

I think this forum is very helpful, the one thing I think would help everyone to see who is talk is a new post column on the right side of the forum page. I also frequent another forum that has this exact format and they use a new post section on the right of the main forum page. I always scan...

Does anyone have anything bad to say about saltwater pools?????

I do not see that as a shot and completely agree however the first PB I talked to I did not know what I was looking for (because I haven't found TFP yet) and he gave me a list of stuff that he said I needed and wasn't to far off with the equipment that I needed, but his price was about $15000...

Does anyone have anything bad to say about saltwater pools?????

Wow, thanks for all of the great insight. It was my assumption the this PB was just an old school character. He did also recommend not using a robot and just using a vac on the side. Another thing I thought to be suspicious is the pump size. I feel like it was going to be under powered he...
