Is there any harm in leaving the solar cover on the pool with the loop-loc cover over it for the winter ? I am not closing the pool and will be running the pump when needed through the winter. The solar cover is a pain to store when it's not on the pool.

I have an easytouch and freeze control is on but I still got scared going through my first winter running the pump.

I was going to insulate the pipes above ground but never finished.

The Lowes by me has lots of left over bleach from last season, but no fresh bottles that I could tell.

Just got done closing my Vinyl pool and drained it below the returns to get all the water out of the pipes then capped them off and left the pool level low but I have already had some rain this week and the level is probably about over the returns again but still way below the skimmers.
