    Speed Stir Question?

Where is the best place to buy some extra beans? I see folks selling various sized beans on Amazon. Not sure if these are ideal. Would rather stay with the Taylor specific brand.

    Speed Stir Question?

Sorry I wasn’t clear. I meant going from one test to the next.

    Speed Stir Question?

After all the good reviews about the Speed Stir, I just got one. I’ve been testing with the Taylor K-2006c with good results without a Speed Stir. Now I have one. How do you handle the in between tests with the magnetic stirrer? Do you empty the previous test results into a screened cup or...

Here we go again - iChlor30 problems.

Although Pentair does not specifically say the unit needs to be under cover, I put a pool pump cover the new unit. We’ll see.

Here we go again - iChlor30 problems.

Pentair replaced the unit under warranty this morning. I put a pump motor cover over it to protect from rain and sun. We'll see if that makes a difference going forward. Thanks for the tip Marty.

Achieving the silky, smooth feel in a salt pool?

I haven’t had any scale issues with my SWCG. Looked clean a few weeks ago when I opened it up. I pull it every month for a look.

Achieving the silky, smooth feel in a salt pool?

I’ll go ahead keep the ph a little lower. Maybe 7.5. Do you think the FC should be a little lower? I’m bringing it down slowly.

Achieving the silky, smooth feel in a salt pool?

I keep my SWG pool mostly within TFP guidelines. There are days the water feels great and other days I feel like I need a shower right after I get out. Why is that? All my logs are in my sig file below if you would like to take a look. Today I felt like I needed that shower. The water is...

Are 70-80 CYA Levels for SWG Pools Safe?

Here in Florida I find that a 70-80 CYA works best for my pool. Lower than that, the FC really takes a beating and it’s a constant SWG manipulation and some liquid chlorine dosing. Although I am fairly new to TFP, the concepts work and work well.
