    Check Valve Help

It’s about 6 feet higher and plumbed with 2in pipe. I checked and the arrow on the valve was pointing in the correct direction. When I put everything together, I jammed a rock in to valve to keep it open. I guess if it’s functioning that I shouldn’t mess with it.

    Check Valve Help

Hey all, I was trying to backflush some leaves off of my main drain and took apart the front end of the pump. When I removed the check valve, I noticed a rock was lodged in it. I put everything back together and tried several times to get prime and it wouldn’t work. I went up to the hardware...

Pump Won’t Power On - No Display

Ok. Makes sense. So the pump can go to the line side of the relay and then run from the relay to the breaker? There is actually a wire going into the extra breaker. It goes to a GFCI receptacle on my post. So right now, my primary control transformer goes to the 240v breaker. Will I need a...

Pump Won’t Power On - No Display

On that dual pole GFCI breaker I’ve got the 240v vsf pump (the manual says to wire it directly to the breaker) and I’ve got the primary control transformer on that same breaker.

Pump Won’t Power On - No Display

Hey everyone, someone pointed out that my salt water generator was wired directly to the circuit breaker. I disconnected and moved the wires to the filter/pump relay. Does this look correct? Each wire that Goes to the salt transformer is connected to the load lug on the relay. Do I need...

Pump Won’t Power On - No Display

Just following up. Went ahead and bought a new pump and replaced the existing breaker with a GFCI. Also moved the salt cell wiring to the relay. Does this look correct? I also bought a square D surge protector. I think it connects to its own 240v 20amp breaker. Does this just go in any available...

    Question about replacing Pentair Pump

Thanks. I believe the check valve is there because of the incline from the pool to the pump. I was having issues losing prime.

    Question about replacing Pentair Pump

Thanks. So just to clarify, will I need to rebuilt back to these existing unions that I’ve highlighted in red? Can I just cut the vertical pipe and use a coupling at the spot I’ve highlighted in yellow?
