    Pool Leak

I have a question that perhaps you could reply to? When the 2 skimmers were originally put in as the pool was being built I noted that there are 2 drop outs of their bottoms. The pool builder tee'd them together just out of the skimmers and I've always thought that one pipe should be go back to...

    Pool Leak

tstex, Thanks for the reply. We have done the dye tests with no results. The pool pro just left and he will be back on Monday. He is going to run a pressure leak down test on the 3 lights. It means digging the lawn up in 3 spots and if we get lucky and find the one we suspect may be where the...

    Troubleshoot Pool Leak

We also have a can not find water leak. We've tried the red dye trick at every place the pool walls are penetrated, and no leakage was evident. Our construction is a concrete bottom pad with two drains back to the pump room, concrete cinder block side walls, then stucco covering the blocks and...

Re: Have the test kit, new results, need advice... Ok. I let the water rest for 2 days with out any pumps running. I then vacuumed the settled sentiment directly into the sewer. Now the water is crystal clear. I drained 50% of the pool water and added tap water back in. Here are the...

    Scale deposits on pool tiles

Our pool this morning.......This pool is located in the garden of our home in Cancun, Mexico. The water here is very hard. The pool water has been in the pool since it was finished almost 3 summers ago. In the past we used Muriatic acid and a brush to scrub the "bathtub" ring off of the pool...

    Concrete pool up north

It's been very hot here in Cancun as well. At least we have a constant 6-8mph breeze which makes it tolerable. Our pool water has been too hot. (90 F /32.2 C) I wish I could send Mats some of our too warm water. Your finished pool is great. Good job, Mats! :goodjob:

    Concrete pool up north

Matts, How about if you make a wooden form similar in size to the temp metal knee braces and pour the same material into them that you used on the counter-top to make matching knee braces. Perhaps you could leave a triangular hole in the middle of them to lighten them up a bit and make them look...

    Concrete pool up north

Hurricane Ida passed Cancun Sunday. We had a lot of rain for 3 days up to her visit. Fortunately she didn't get too close and she was pretty much a non-event. However we noticed on Monday that our pool was losing water. I had pumped the pool down 7" in preparation for the hurricane, so I...
