Thank you for your reply I actually am in the process of draining the entire pool, diy project on old pool that came with new house. I will use compressor or hose and blow some air or water in the tube.

Hello I’m replacing two skimmers on my inground pool and I have a extra pipe that appears to go to the main drain. Problem is I have a pipe going to the main drain that was attached to the skimmer, the pipe in question was not connected to anything. Could someone please help?
