New Pool Build in Oklahoma - Current Stage....Waiting to enjoy it for the first summer

Only things added to pool have been startup tech by PB, Muriatic Acid, and Calcium Chloride. I have sent the PB another message and asked if they added anything else. It's possible there was a testing error as its all new to me but I wouldn't have thought so....

Done and timer set for retest. Doing now.... No clue. Haven't done anything different. PH is higher than 8.2 TA is 50 Not sure what's changed although it is near freezing in OK at the moment. The sheers and bubblers have been running since 6pm last night to keep water moving.

New Build - Upgrade Equipment or no?

I would have them upgrade to all pentair microbrite color lights. We were supposed to get clear and ended up with color by accident. It was a nice upgrade we didn't pay for and the kids love it.

New Pool Build in Oklahoma - Current Stage....Waiting to enjoy it for the first summer

Test results this morning are: FC = 1 PH = >8.2 TA = 70 CH = 300 CYA = 0 (when should I be adding this?) based on the bicarb method I need to be between 400ppm - 500ppm with TA+CH. Pool Math says 17lbs of Calcium Chloride will raise CH to 400 which would put me in the correct range...

New Pool Build in Oklahoma - Current Stage....Waiting to enjoy it for the first summer

Don't know anything about other test kits....just know I found TFP when looking at building a pool and the advice seemed reasonable as well as the people being extremely helpful. Pretty easy to go all in here with TFP, particularly when you've received that sort of welcoming.
