Hey James - I decided to replace the entire unit. I have ordered a new Pentair SuperFlo VS Pump which will be delivered in the next few days. That being said, is it beneficial to install a flow meter to help optimize the pump set up?

I'll take the cap off and look. Capacitor is the exact same specs as the old one I pulled out. I don't have a voltage tester so I'll have to run and pick one up to test that out.

Thanks for this! I replaced the run capacitor but that sounds is still there and the pump is not starting. Any other ideas?
