    For specific salt level recommendations, please refer to the manual for your SWG. You would need CYA in addition to salt. Have a look at Pool School, in particular ABCs of pool water chemistry, recommended pool chemicals and water balance for SWGs.

    What he said. BTW, our current recommendation is to use Pool Math rather than Pool Calc as Pool Calc had been abandoned by its owner until recently.
