Hi all. I finally got my new reagents. Now I need help to understand what I do in what order. I am ground zero on CYA.
Test results:
FC: .8
CC: .4
PH:8
TA: 140
CYA: less than 3O, dot didn't go away, I haven't added any yet. Wanted to get results first.

3500 gallon small pool.

Thanks ,
I know I need Chlorine which is being eaten up by know CYA. But what order do I add ?
Thanks!

Chlorine and CYA. Add 30 ppm worth of CYA Stabilizer. 3 ppm worth of liquid chlorine.

Once you have done that, test your pH again and use some acid to lower into the 7's.

How does the pool look? Is it crystal clear, cloudy or have any visible algae? Do as Mknauss said now & if it’s crystal clear then tonight u can do an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test to rule out organics since u have had instances of low fc levels.
If it’s cloudy or u have visible algae u can just proceed to the SLAM Process.

You should never use less than a full gallon of liquid stabilizer as it settles and pouring it out in small amounts will not equal what you hope

Use dry CYA stabilizer granules and the sock method.

Well here we go, first time trying this. Only doing half at a time. I'd rather error on the side of caution. Hopefully this set up is ok
Thanks for the information!20220619_095207.jpg
