Optimum Pool - Top/Coping Caps Question

I hope I am describing the correct part. We recently had a 27' Optimum pool installed and the coping on the top has caps that cover the gaps between the walls. These caps seem to shift constantly from regular use and end up sliding off of the gap between the two wall pieces that they are supposed to be covering. Is this expected behavior and should I just check them after each use to slide them back into place or should these have been attached in a more secure manner? Thanks in advance!

Yes I have the same problem with mine. However my coping ends were put over the joints which the installer did incorrectly. I would just try putting a small dab of caulk, cheap plastic fencing glue from Lowe’s. I don’t think it would take much keep them in place. I could make you feel better by showing you several pictures of my pool. I’m totally discouraged with the looks of this pool. I paid good money for this thing and brought it to dealer/installer the 2 nd day of install. Got nowhere. Here I am 3 years later. 45A6C7D9-0393-4672-9EA6-8A15FB7F65BE.jpeg
