How do you improve GPH flow rate with DIY solar drip irrigation hose/tube

I have tried a 1000GPH and 1500 GPH intex pump with my DIY solar using black drip irrigation hosing tubing and the output is the same. Its pretty slow at what I would guess is 50GPH. This is I am sure because the water is going from a 1.5" tubing diameter intex hosing down to a 0.5" diameter drip irrigation hose. However I dont expect the flow rate to be THIS slow. Im wondering if others experience the same thing or not and if they have solutions?

Another problem I have that sometimes contributes to this is air pockets needing release with DIY solar with drip irrigation hose/tube. Please see below link. Does anyone have this problem and have they tried this solution on the website below of installing air vents? FYI my current solution is to hook up a hose every now and then and blow out all the air from the drip line and then quickly disconnect the hose from the drip line and hook up the intex pump back up to the solar drip line
My solar set up is 500 feet of black irrigation tubing coiled on my roof.

500' of 1/2" tubing is about 20 sq-ft so you really should not need more than 2 GPM for maximum efficiency. Forcing too much water through the system can cause problems so you do not want to do that.

Also note that 20 sq-ft is not going to add much heat to a pool. How many gallons does your pool hold? 20 sq-ft will add about 20,000 BTU per day or increase the temperature of 10k gallon pool less than 0.25 degF.

As for venting, that should not be an issue for a system under pressure. How is panel installed, location, elevation and tilt?

The pool is 14x48 round so i think ~4k gallons

The air leakage is definitely an issue with my setup. The solar tubing goes to the roof ~15-20 feet up?, 1 story house and I'd say ~20 degree tilt. The pump will not clear the air pockets but the hose will.
I wouldnt expect these pumps to clear the air pockets because they have "bleed valves" for the air in the top of the pumps to bleed the air out. However this wont bleed the air from the solar tubing on the roof of course. Or maybe i am wrong.

That is the problem. An Intex pump does not have enough head for that kind of lift. If you put the panel on the ground, it will probably work much better. But you still are not adding much heat.

so these 2x20 solar panels on amazon say they are 40 sq feet 40k BTU for ~ 160 bucks are going to be twice as "good" as my 500 ft DIY tubing set up?

Dang wish i knew that cuz this DIY solar thing is a pain. I think ill look at buying a legit set up and pump
 
Probably more than 2x as good. The flat panels have better efficiency so for the size, you get more heat.

We don't generally recommend DIY because the BTU/$ of commercial panels exceeds that of DIY panels.

However, I would recommend at least 80 sq-ft for that size pool.
 
I have around 600' of 1/2" tubing on 2 sheets of plywood on the ground that is supplied by 1" tubing from from my 1 HP pool pump 30' away. I get 6 gallons per minute at 120f on a hot summer day. It's 170 when I first turn it on in the afternoon (las vegas)
