My pool filter is spitting sand in the pool. I have looked at the laterals and nothing seems to be cracked but I don’t know what that looks like. Would it be super obvious? The pipe seems good. We have a brand new multi port valve. Any recommendations on what I could do to fix this?

My sand pump is leaking Sand into the pool. I have checked all the laterals and don’t see any cracks. Would it be obvious? The pipe is also crack free. I just put a brand new 7 way valve on it. Any help or recommendations would be appreciated!!!
Did you lift the assembly out after removing sand, and you inspect from all sides? Center pipe is ok - seated firmly with no cracks? When you added the sand, did you cover the center pipe to keep sand out of it?
I commented on your other thread. Did you cover the center pipe while adding sand?

Is a cracked lateral obvious? Or could it be something really small?
Mine spits out some sand as I see it pick it up in the vaccum. I think it's just the variations in the size of granules of sand.
