Pentair SE , SI or dolphin 200?

Looking at these robots at marina , the S200 is $899 but have been told it’s the exact same cleaner as the pentair SE. Is that entirely true? Then you have the pentair SI for $50 more that they say is the same as the S300. Is the only difference between the SE and SI the Bluetooth?

Did you call them? The pricing is different over the phone I believe. The Si has Bluetooth control. I do not have that and can’t think of what I would need it for.

I bought two S200 for $699 each and free shipping.

I believe that price is now about $725 or so... I think the MSRP is $899. Unless something has recently changed.

I’m going to give them a call today , your probably right but I live apps and gadgets for my home. If the app is just remote control that only works when I’m within X amount of feet then it’s probably not worth it.

The Pentair and the Dolphin S200 are exactly the same. Only difference is the color of the body, and the name on the outside.

I was looking at the pentair website, and it looks like there is a rebate available for the pentair models

Thanks, yeah I’m going to get the Pentair SI , for $50 more you get Bluetooth. The Bluetooth is pretty cool because you can use your phone to manually guide the unit if needed

I have the Warrior SI but I have not set up Bluetooth yet on it. I should because some days when it's in the pool and it's heading for a leaf but stops inches short of it, you can hear me cussing it.

I spoke with them, they said they were out of stock on dolphins and the price is going up when they get more. The pentair was the listed price still

I have the S300i which I got because it has WiFi connection and came with the Caddy. I find the caddy to be very handy and I like the WiFi because I can connect to the control unit from anywhere to start up the robot or see where it is in the cleaning cycle. BUT the bluetooth works the same exact way so long as you're within range of the control unit which would probably be 30-50 feet. With WiFi connection, you can check on it from across town if you want - not necessary, but nice to have the option.
