Green water. Slam process?

Hello, first time pool owner here. I was recently given a 22x52 Coleman power steel pool. It has the pump that came with the pool (Plan on upgrading to sand filter once they are back in stock) So I have to work with what I’ve got. Also the cartridge filters seem to be out of stock so I plan to just rinse as often as necessary. Anyways, the pool is finally filled and the water is green. I know there is an algae problem. I’ve been doing a little reading on this site to get familiar with the slam process. I am still left scratching my head 😂 I also purchased a Tf100 testing kit as it was highly recommended. I downloaded the pool math app and put in my results. I’m looking for clarification on the steps to follow for slamming. I need pool care for dummies, please tell me step by step of what I need to do. Any help is appreciated!!

Welcome to the forum!
Great job in getting a quality test kit!
Enter the test data into Poolmath. Touch the CYA value in Overview. Put in 30 ppm as Target. It will tell you how much stabilizer/conditioner you need to start dissolving.
Touch the FC button. Enter 10 ppm as Target. Put in what % bleach you will use. Add that amount.
Once the CYA is dissolving, Enter 30 ppm as your CYA in Test Results. Then use the SLAM button to get to 12 ppm FC Target.
The pH you show above is not possible. So do that test again.
Come back here with any questions or if you want to check the amounts you are getting to add.
Add your pool volume in Gallons to your signature.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry.

Thanks for replying! I rechecked my PH and it’s at 7.8, not sure where I got 12. I’ve updated my signature. 🙂 if I remember correctly, I’ve read putting the stabilizer in a sock in the skimmer, my pool does not have a skimmer so how would you suggest to add the stabilizer?

Add the CYA by using what we call the sock method. Get an old sock (no holes) and put the measured amount of CYA you need. Tie the sock closed and either suspend it in front of a return (hang it from your brush pole works with something weighted on the deck) OR if it still allows flow thru the skimmer, place the sock in the skimmer. Every 15/20 minutes give the sock a squeeze to speed up the process. Please DO NOT follow the directions on the container of CYA to just pour it into the skimmer and don't just toss the sock in the pool as the CYA is acidic and can bleach/stain pool finishes.

You will want to lower your pH to 7.2 using acid when you are ready to start the SLAM Process

I want to make sure I have the process down. Get my CYA to 30ppm, then get my FC to 10ppm? When do I add the acid? How do I know when I’m ready to start the slam process? Sorry for all the questions, I have never had a pool before and this is all a bit overwhelming for me 🤪

No problem.
Best to add the acid now if you have it. Or tomorrow if you need to get some.
Add 10 ppm chlorine now if you can. Once you start dissolving the CYA, use the 30 ppm CYA SLAM level FC of 12 ppm. You maintain that by testing the FC and adding more chlorine to raise it to 12 ppm, several times per day. Brush Brush Brush.

I am going in the morning to get all of the chemicals. Which level should I adjust first? How long do I need to wait between adding chemicals?

Add the 10 ppm of chlorine first. Circulate for 15 minutes or so and add the acid. Then hang the sock with CYA. Then check your FC every few hours and raise the FC back to SLAM level.
