guys anyone ever smoke a bacon explosion? they cal the m fatties also. I'm scared but at the same time intrigued by all the bacon goodness. I was thinking of trying one but the recipes I'm looking at are all over the place on cooking tech. baste every 40 mins. don't touch it. baste at the end. broil it and. then back to smoker. all kinda wackiness going on.
Ok jim, you got me curious about this bacon explosion. I goggled it and saw many recipes for it, but basically it is a pork sausage double or tripple weaved wrapped in bacon. Sounds like artery clogging food but worth trying :cheers:

i'm making one tomorrow.

i'm going italian sausage. not using no jimmy dean stuff. i decided to stuff with par cooked mushrooms, onions, red pepper, and cheese. i'll use some bbq seasoning but i'm not going crazy with it. we will see. i just want to experiment.

Thanks man. It was god would I do it again. Yes. Different. Yes. With hamburger like I said. Bit man my stomach was upset last night for an hour. Lol. Just so heavy. Only me. No one else. My stomach can’t handle really heavy or rich foods though. Lol. You know what I mean. I think you do. Lol

Everyone liked it though. My wife was deff the biggest nay sayers but liked it and trust me if she didn’t I would know. She is a crazy good cook.

Oh also next time 1 lb of meat for the roll vs 2 lb. and then more stuffing.
 
Shrimp boiled in old bay seasoning, Stuffed Hungarian wax Peppers 🌶, roast beef 🥩, corn cooked in the air fryer , asparagus topped with Parmesan cheese 🧀 :cheers:
