A little over/under

As you can see from my latest figures, my salt is a little on the high side, and my CYA (60) is a little under according to the ideal measurements for a salt pool with a SWG. I have my RJ60 down to 20% - and just moved it down another step as my last chlorine test moved up a notch. Running the pump continuously at 2000 rpm and pool is crystal clear.
Here’s the question. Should I really bump CYA to 70 per the recommendation? Seems like I am more than able to maintain an adequate FC level at 60 and I am a little nervous about 70 CYA in the event I need to SLAM again this summer.
Any suggestions?

CYA 60 will be fine in PA.

Your salt is a lot on the high side. Salt over 4,000 can cause corrosion around the pool. High salt can also cause premature failure of SWGs.

Not an expert,

But reducing electricity, pump run time and a finite SWG cell lifetime vs. a possible slam would lead me to raising cya 70 or 80.

So I am guessing partial drain and replace to lower the salt level. Of course tray will lower CYA so I’ll need to add that back too.

How about 6 hours pump with SWG at 80%? There's no reason to run the pump 24/7. THE SWG will be on the same amount of time, but the pump will use 75% less electricity.

I kind of like the pump running at lower speed almost constantly as it does a great job of keeping the pool clean. When I ran my single speed Hayward pump 10 hours during the day it always seemed to pick up a lot of debris overnight on the bottom. Now trying to lower the salt

I’ve drained some and have the salt down to 4200 and my SWG confirms this avg reading. Should I work to bring it down further or leave it alone? Circupool says it is most effective at 3500 ppm. Is it worth draining and replacing further?

I would get the salt below 4000.
