In ground 17000 gallon fiberglass pool we get A LOT of leaves and sticks and also rolly pollys and worms in our pool. I work from home and clean out the skimmer basket and skim a few times a day to keep it clean, also we have our robot go sometime twice a day. We removed two big trees and got the other trimmed but most of this is from our neighbors yard now. Our FC and CC change daily depending on how much ends up in the pool however cc very rarely goes slightly pink from time to time.

After winter we noticed the pool getting darker and grungy wet tried shocking and slamming and brushing nothing seemed to work. Well magic eraser worked but can't do the whole pool like that at all. We then noticed dark dots forming and we though we had mold but doing the puck test and magic eraser did nothing. Someone told us about absorbic acid so we sprinkled that over one of the dots and sweet lord everywhere it touched bone white! it was magical. So we lowered the chlorine and dumped in the right amount the next day white pool and then added in the proper amount of sequstriant. However we also go cloudier and cloudier and we also realized we might have an algae problem starting.
We raised the pool chlorine every day by one until we were about 10 days in then slammed for 5 days strait until we passed the tested good and brought it back down. I have also been pretty aggressive about keeping the PH at about 7.3-7.4.
However it's back and getting worse every day now it's been about a week since we have been keeping things nice and balanced the water is still crystal clear but things are getting grungy again
Is there anything else we can do? is there another process that is different then absorbic acid? or is this going to be life with our pool and situation.
