HI,

Background. My pool was stopped and drained for a remodel 3 months.

1) I have a blower that is connected to a pipe and returns to jets at the bottom of spa. My blower use to run 30 minutes then stop, now it runs 5 minutes and stops. The blower will not restart iaqualink reports it as on. Flipping the breaker and trying is no bueno. I ordered a blower, as I wanted a smaller one and check valve. Im trying to figure out what I need to do here?

2) I have a 2.7 Jandy epump. It seems to not be pumping as much water as check valve isn't moving all the way up like before. Switching speeds seems to help but overall much less power. Also, besides pumping less when I switch speeds it doesn't prime between switching like before. Is this signs my pump is dying, can my main drain be clogged from the remodel or something else. Any thoughts here?

I appreciate it TFP!

1) blower, sounds like motor thermal overloads are tripping. These are in the motor, and open when the motor gets too hot and won't close again until they cool down enough. Could be the motor is getting old, insulation is breaking down and causing it to overheat. Other cause could be inadequate air flow. If the motor/fan is pushing too hard (i.e. no flow path), it will overheat also. If possible I would either open or install a vent path closer to the blower and see what happens.
2) Have you checked all of your valve positions? I wonder if you don't have enough suction flow lined up. Also have you checked your pump speeds? Last thing I would check is voltage, maybe you've got a bad leg for your power supply?

In response to the blower: the fact that the blower started to overheat after your pool was remodeled leads me to believe something they changed is causing the problem. Did they change out the jets, or remove them and reassemble them later? Did they change out the water pump or change the speed of the water pump? Any of these changes can cause back pressure on the blower, which will in turn cause it to overheat.

If you give me more info about what they changed when remodeling, then I might be able to help you further!
