Spa blower installation

What’s the best way to wire a spa air blower motor in the easy touch 8 panel? The one I’m looking at is a Air Supply 2 hp 240v model

Also, is it best to mount it on the air inlet, or put a T on the spa return and mount it there?

Thanks!

You put the air blower on the air inlet for the spa. You wire it through a relay that you will program on your ET.

Mike,

I would wire it to the relay on the bottom right... In "theory" this should be Aux 7.. I suggest that you make sure the little coil wires from that relay are plugged into the Aux 7 port on the main board.

You would wire the blower into the two Load terminals on the relay. You will need to run 240 volt power from the load center to the two Line terminals on the relay.

Unless it is going to be used for something else, you could use the 20 amp 240 volt circuit breaker that is not currently being used.

Thanks,

Jim R.
