I purchased Muriatic Acid at Home Depot. I’ve read the entire label and can’t find the percentage of muriatic acid. So I looked up the MSDS sheet and it says 20%. I don’t have a 20% option on Pool Math. Options?

I'm getting clutzy here... ok... when I open my PoolMath App to the "Effects of Adding x chemical" I can dial it up to choose either 14.5 or 31.45% MA.
Do you see that? Is your MA by chance 20 Baume? Or 20%?
I think I'd just undershoot a bit and retest....creep up on your desired level if unsure.

20° is 20 Baum is 31.45%
If it's really 20%, then use the dropdown for 15.75% and multiply by 1.26984126984
I'd use 1.25. That's close enough.

Again, I'd underdose if I was unsure. I'd go for the lesser strength on the app and use 3/4, then retest.

OMG,...I left a Level I Trauma ED after 18 years!! I've been in Cardiology for about 2 years now.
