Pool Math

Thank you. Pool Math is indispensable to me. That and all the support I have gotten here when I didn't know anything saved me. Moved in to this house Aug 2013 with 0 knowledge about pools. Somehow made it through the summer of 2014 and then looks like I found this website April 2015.

Although the App will tell you the effect of adding certain amounts of chlorine or other chemicals to the pool it doesn't just tell me how much I need to get to say 4 ppm if I only have 2 ppm. Maybe I need to subscribe to get that information.

I like the way the old Pool Math would take Alkalinity and PH into consideration when suggesting amounts to add. Again, I guess I need to subscribe.

The app does all the things you describe. When you enter your test results, you go to Overview, tap the parameter you wish to adjust, and the screen takes you to were you determine what target level you are shooting for and then how much of the chemical you select you should use.

Thanks, I see that now. I can use it just like the old Pool Math. It will recommend what I need to do and not just tell me what would happen. I could use it outside and not have to come inside and crank up laptop.

So, let's say I added some bleach to get to 3 ppm like it told me to do. Then when I go back in, having tested my water and try to put in new current test result of 3 it says Premium Subscription Required. Is that part of the unlimited log history I would get with a subscription?

I've only got one pool so don't need multiple pool configurations. I guess I could possibly use some reminders at times. I understand cloud/sync and backup is important. Could I look at the backup from a computer also?

Thanks for your help Mcknauss.

You need to subscribe to store any test results, notes, etc.
Once you subscribe, you can have the app on multiple devices. I have it on my iphone, ipad, and laptop as a Microsoft App. The data syncs between them. You can also share your Poolmath data logs here on the forum so if you have questions we can easily see your data. Hover your mouse over my Member name, you will see PoolMath Logs. Select it and you can see my data.
