Best Places to Buy Liquid Chlorine

Weis Market has 12.5% Shock, currently on sale from $3.49 to $2.62. Not sure how long the sale lasts, last year the same stuff was $2.24, so it went up a bit, but for the price, it's the best around.

Locations are in NEPA, and date code is 19079, so not old stock.

Home Depot by me (Upstate NY) doesn’t carry the HDX 10%).

Next time I’m in the store I’m going to see if they can order it for me. Anyone have any luck going this route?

If they can order it, it will certainly be the best price around here.
I'm almost certain they will order for you. Just make sure to order 4 or more so you get the discount of $1 off each case.

There's a Weis Markets very close to where I live. If they have 12.5% at 2.62 a gallon I'll probably buy as much as I can (ideally 20 gallons) as that would likely last me most if not all of the swim season.

I have two Weis that I frequent, both had the same stuff at $2.62/gallon. I've used it now for 2 years, and it tests right at what PoolMath says, so I haven't found any decrease in potency. I initially bought 24 gallons, when I did, they had two full pallets. I just stopped at that Weis today and they're down to about half a pallet, so buy it quick. I made the mistake of not getting enough last year, and it seems once it's gone, it's gone.

Virginia Beach:
Home Depot has the HDX Brand Liquid Chlorine(10%) at $9.98 for (3) one gallon pack
Just make sure you don't buy it if its stored outside in the garden center, and check those production dates!
Heat/sun weaken chlorine so you don't wanna pay top dollar for water. Check the Julian dates.... it should read some thing like 2919 or 19 and then 093 (year and number in days of the year). I recently got some liquid chlorine at Walmart that was 8 days old since production. <score!>
