The Techko S187D, is out of stock on Amazon, but Amazon Warehouse has a couple of used ones. Just need to click other buying options. Not sure if delivery would be fast enough now.

The Lowes at 54/41 also has a bunch in store, but they want $32 each which is crazy.. I think Lowes might price match Amazon though?
 
Thanks @wakerider017 I think we have it handled. Our pool builder came by today to prep for the pebble, and he thinks that our window locks are high enough to pass the code of 54". He said we should be OK going with just the alarms on the doors, and we have enough for that. Worse case scenario I have to add alarms later to the windows.
 
Pebble Tec is done, and water is going in the pool as I type. It looks great to me, although I am not sure what I am supposed to be looking for. There are some whiter pale spots on the sunshelf, but the installer said that is just the difference from part of it being wet and part of it being dry. I am keeping an eye on that part. It also looks a lot more beige than I thought it would, I thought it would be more white, as its White Diamonds finish color. But we compared it to the sample and its pretty much dead on the same. So I think when its full of water and clear it will look great. We are very excited!

Logically, it makes sense. The fence gates do not have to be alarmed or even locked, they just have to be 54" above the ground. Anyone can open them and walk right in and theoretically drown in my pool. The windows inside my home are raised very high, and the window locks are way more than 54" above the floor, about 65". Of course logic has nothing to do with the law so we will see how it goes. I am being cheap about it. Anyone know what happens if you fail the safety inspection??
 
It would be on your builder to address the issues if it gets red tagged. In hillsborough the safety inspection had to be checked off before the pool finishers would even apply the plaster.

The only thing i see is if it fails, the builder will likely stick it on you to add the door alarms. Most window latches will be higher than code requires, as yours are, so usually its the sliding glass doors and regular doors that require the alarms.

The inspector will probably be there in the next day or two to do the final sign off and close the permit.
 
Do you have your test kit yet? Have you tested your hose water? (too lazy to look back LOL).

Your water may have a green tint to it. The final color will come as you balance the water and the plaster cures. Make sure to be ready to brush your pool twice a day.

That plaster looks good!! I can't wait to see the final color!

My builder already "sticks it to me" with the security, that's part of what I am responsible for anyway. To be clear, I could have paid them for adding security, but they admittedly said I was much better off doing it myself and not paying them for it, so I made this choice. And yes, Hillsborough does require a county "safety inspection" prior to plaster, but Pasco does not. The PB is responsible for ensuring safety systems are in place prior to plaster and water, which he did do. He even said if the inspector gives me grief over the windows not having alarms, he would help argue it out, but we both know that the worst case scenario is I just have to add a few more alarms, no big deal.

To be clear... all the doors and sliding glass doors have alarms, it was only the windows I did not do. And I only did that because we got alarms for free from a neighbor, enough to do all the doors and sliding glass doors but not windows. So we will see what they say about the windows with latches being higher than 54". But that does beg another question... would it be possible to simply add a sliding lock to doors higher than 54" to meet security?? Not that I would want that, but it would be less annoying than these silly alarms that go off every time we forget to push the button before going out or in!!! :)

No, no test kit, and no, I did not test my water prior to filling. I am just not that diligent, I barely remembered to turn off the water last nite! I have had a pool before, and the chemistry of keeping the water balanced just is not my strong suite. I really need my son to live around here, he is a science nut and loves this Crud. I honestly haven't even read all the wonderful threads you guys have posted here about the way to keep the pool maintained. I know... bad pool owner. Sorry, just being honest. I will learn it eventually, I just have so many more interesting things to think about right now, like smart accent lighting and landscape lighting, what patio furniture we want, where I am going to put the supplies, finishing the landscaping and paver pathways, etc. Oh, and I get to buy a robot pool cleaner, I can already tell thats going to take hours of research, maybe even another spreadsheet!!

Thanks for the tip on the water color, yes it did look a little green, I figured it would get more blue once everything settled in!!

They are out there right now setting up the jets and bubblers and cleaning all the Crud out of the lines, I will take some pics when its cleaned up.

At least the inspector explained in a very nice way why that is... because inside the home it is very easy for a child to get something to stand on and open the windows. Not so much outside the fence. Logically... doesn't make a ton of sense. But as I said before, logic doesn't usually apply to things like this. :)

If you see this, would you mind please sharing which window alarms worked for your inspection? I am having a terrible time finding ASTM F2090 certified window latches, especially since I need them quickly. This door and window situation is such a racket. Our entire house is armed everywhere, and now I am scrambling to spend hundreds and hundreds and search for quick delivery (and then husband spend who knows how many hours) to pass inspection. Thank you in advance if you have window tips. I am about "googled" out. Tougher to find on Amazon than I expected!
