Removing algae stains from plaster

So I am doing a complete drain and refill. What do you recommend to remove any algae stains from plaster while the pool is drained?

If the stains are organic (algae), a SLAM will eliminate them.

Take a puck and place on one of the stains for 10-15 minutes. See if that eliminates them.

Could I use liquid chlorine 12% in a weed sprayer?

Halfway.

That looks more like Calcium scale to me. It might have some algae embedded in it, but bleach won't touch it.

Possibly, but unlikely. More likely acid wash or sandblast.
