High calcium hardness-should I be concerned?

I usually test CL and pH daily and everything else one a month. Today's numbers:

FC: 5.5
PH: 7.5
TA: 40
CH: 590
CYA: 50

I will bring up both the TA and CYA according to Pool Math. My CH is consistently high though every time I test it even when all my other numbers are good. It has dropped from a high of 640 in March to what it is now. Here in Central Florida we are in our rainy season and I have had to drain off several inches about 2 weeks ago.

Is there any damage that could be done with a higher than recommended calcium hardness level?

My CH is 1150ppm. No problems managing my pool whatsoever. Just keep your CSI in check and you'll be fine.

Ok thanks. I'll be adjusting the TA tomorrow and I keep close watch on the pH as it tends to rise fairly rapidly.

Use a 10 ml sample for the CH test. 10 drops of R-0010, 3 of R-0011, then multiply R-0012 by 25. When you get to those kinds of numbers, whether you get 575 or 600 instead of 590 doesn't make a lot of difference but it does save a lot of drops. If the color is too faint, use more R-0011
