14 years of pool stores and failure...

So quick update on my pool. Everything is going fantastically still. Everyone has been in and out of the pool and loving it, daily testing makes keeping this thing sparkling clear a breeze, couldn't be happier. Hence the reason I added that awesome little badge last week. Also have a new speed stir on the way, enough manual stirring already. LOL.

So back on page 4 of this thread, triptyx posted a picture of his pool at night with still water that just blew me away. I took one tonight to compare. Admittedly I still have plaster issues and what not and it probably won't compare until I get that redone....however, I won't say that I wasn't a little proud of how it came out. I can't even really get a comparable image since my pool light doesn't currently work (another thread for another day once I get down there with a snorkle and confirm the status....lets just say it looks like the screw in the housing is broken off and the thing has been epoxied in place by the previous owner).

PH is still climbing slowly with TA at ~90 so I'm going to work on dropping it down to 80 and see how it goes from there. I'll find its happy place sooner or later. In the mean time, I feel like I'm developing an odd....dare I say...understanding of my pool, what it needs to be happy. I know...a bit out there.

Stay cool pool fam! Gonna go read some other threads and see where I can help out, haven't had a chance lately...kids finishing school and one graduated today. Pool looks good for a post pool party pic!

The water is just going to get better and better and the balancing will get easier and easier, too!

Oh yeah! Now that is some TFP water there! LOVE it and your smile when you look at it. I can hear it in your voice!

I can't wait to see you on the boards helping! I can see it now, "Well it is clearer than it was but you are not done until it looks like mine!" :sun:

Numb,

I'll bet your kids are so happy! My friend was at my pool a couple weeks ago. She had been at a relatives pool a couple days earlier. She said my pool looked so clean and clear in comparison that she was not swimming over there anymore! TFP is the ticket!
