I am the first season user of above ground Baquacil pool.
Swimming in the pool, I felt very unpleasant taste in my mouth - maybe it was the reaction on chemicals.
I have decided to switch to the salt water generator.
Today, due to installation problems, my pool was drained, fixed and filled with fresh water.
So, now I have a good moment for the switching to SWG.
However, I am planning to install it in the spring at the pool opening.
How should I winterize my pool now? What chemicals and how much to add?

I wouldn't add any chemicals this fall unless you want to finish the conversion to chlorine this fall before closing. Some baqua residue will remain in the filter and the plumbing, so you need to follow the baqua conversion guide either now or in the spring. Since the water was replaced and you weren't using baqua for very long the conversion will go very very quickly, but it is still necessary. In any case, do not add any more baquacil sanitizer. Using algaecide is alright, but probably not required.
