I have told customers of mine to use a couple of different household cleaners to clean their hot tub with when they drain it. I have told customers to use windex, 409 and any kitchen surface cleaner. Lysol makes a good anti-bacterial kitchen cleanser. I always made sure to tell them to rinse it extremely well before filling it back up with water in case it started foaming.

Is there any other cleaners that you guys recommend or not recommend people to use when wiping down their spas?

I don't know about general cleaning, but if a spa is new or is unused for a time, then a decontamination procedure is in order as described here. One can also use Spa System Flush as part of the decontamination, especially if a spa has had a small amount of water in it for an extended period of time and has formed biofilms.
