Hey folks,
I'm puting down a new patio made of pavers around my pool.
The pool is a 30 year old 18X36 In Ground Vinyl pool. The top rim of it is steel, but I think the walls might be fiberglass (not 100% certain...it's not steel and it's not concrete).
As I lay my pavers and do my compaction of the base, is there any risk of damage to the pool itself when running the plate compactor right next to it (i.e. within inches)? Can it handle the vibration ok? Would I need a hand tamper? Also, do I need to be careful when the compactor is above the pipes (rigid pvc)?
Thanks!
