    First year with a cover

    Happy 4th everyone!

    This is my first year with a cover and I am used to adding chlorine everyday. When I keep my cover on, my FC does not drop at all. I've had 5 to 5.5 FC for the last 2 or 3 days. My cc is normally .5
    24000 Gallons
    Cristal-Flo Hi-Rate Sand Filter
    IG - Vinyl
    3/4 HP Pump, and 44 Flow Rate
    Older than 10 years.

    Yup... You have discovered one of the benefits of a cover. You will also notice that your pool temp will rise, making it very nice and comfortable.
