Having read the pinned post about deep cleaning, I have a question that I'm looking for ways to solve.
First, a picture of the pump/filter pad.
If I remove the retaining band around the multiport valve, I don't think I'll have much room to maneuver given the way the pipes are installed. Based on the experience of those who've done it, should I just remove the multiport and wiggle things around to do the work OR cut the three pieces of pipe and install unions when I put it back together ???
