I have battled cloudy water before. After doing some research on here and finally being able to test with a tf-100 test kit I have a reading for my ch level. I came out with 325 ppm. But I have no idea what this number means in the grand scheme of things. As in is that high or low?? Thanks in advance for your help!

Above ground, vinyl liner,
15,000 gal.
Hayward pump, sand filter, TF 100 test kit
?

It is basically how much calcium is in your pool. High levels can cause scaling in non-vinyl pools and within heaters. With a vinyl liner, and no heater, you should be okay. It's a bit high, but there's no good way of lowering it without diluting your pool water.

How are your other test results? List as:
FC
CC
pH
TA
CYA

read "The ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry" up in Pool School. It will tell you what the tests are for, tell you what the ranges are and tell you what to do about it if your results are out of range.
